Our organic pistachios have only been dried (no salt or roasting here)...Snacking on these is the closest you'll get to walking through the grove and tasting as you go! We LOVE that there is no shell - so much easier to incorporate them into recipes!!

Pistachios are the richest source of potassium of all the nut family. The potassium content of one ounce of pistachios is equal to that of one orange, a whopping 310 mg. Two ounces of pistachios contain more potassium than one medium banana.
That single ounce of pistachios carries more than 10% of the Daily Value for dietary fiber, vitamin B6, thiamine, magnesium, phosphorous, and copper.
Most commonly these nuts are found roasted and salted but its best to buy truly raw pistachios!! In comparing raw pistachios to dry roasted,it was found that nutrients such as vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and potassium are diminished after going through the roasting process :(
